Your contribution is needed now! As of January 6, 2009, donor pledges total $93,544 for 2009 campaign. Please pledge now to help all of us through the work of 13 local agencies and the 2-1-1 service. United Appeal for Athens County, Ohio raises money and awareness for 13 member health and human service agencies that serve Athens County. We are an independent non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. We are not members of any national or state association. Your pledge helps local people through local agencies. Similar to other united fund drives, United Appeal for Athens County raises funds through an annual drive conducted primarily at worksites. Campaign Leaders are worksites that contribute a minimum of $250 to the campaign through employee pledges and/or corporate donations. Over 1,600 individuals contributed to United Appeal last year through over 60 worksites.
